Opportunity for a Fault Management Systems Engineer

We are pleased to announce an opening for a Fault Management Systems Engineer within our distinguished team at Mclaurin Aerospace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thorough comprehension of complex systems and their potential failure modes
  • Implementation of model-based systems engineering methodologies to create system models
  • Expertise in employing fault management design and analysis tools, including FMEAs, FMECAs, and fault trees, alongside software skills
  • Fulfillment of additional assigned responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with SysML, UML, or comparable system modeling techniques
  • Practical experience in modeling intricate cyber-physical systems, with knowledge in risk assessments, fault/failure analysis, redundancy, fault tolerance, system health management, and fault management frameworks
  • Strong foundation in dynamics and proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and coordination abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Avionics and Software Architecture
  • Familiarity with NASA software and systems development standards, including skills in C/C++ programming, Linux, and scripting languages such as Python
