Position Overview
Katalyst Healthcares and Life Sciences is in search of a dedicated Assembly Technician to execute a variety of production tasks aimed at assembling final products for our clientele. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit to thrive in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diverse production tasks, including wiring, component installation, cable assembly, and complete unit assembly.
  • Assemble parts at designated stations as needed.
  • Verify that product dimensions meet specified standards.
  • Engage in functional testing as part of production and quality assurance processes.
  • Calibrate and test components to ensure compliance with tolerances and specifications.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to assemble units according to established guidelines.
  • Identify and rectify units that do not meet testing criteria.
  • Assist engineering and design teams with the design, testing, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and pneumatic schematics.
  • Adjust mechanical assemblies using precision tools as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Skills and Experience
  • Ability to interpret charts, diagrams, drafts, or verbal/written instructions.
  • Proficient in understanding MPIs, technical prints, and manuals.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workload effectively.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields is preferred.
  • Previous vocational training is a plus.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • This position will involve exposure to controlled yet potentially varying internal environmental conditions, including temperature and noise levels typical of a warehouse setting.
  • Job responsibilities may require prolonged standing, sitting, and frequent walking in areas such as warehouses and assembly lines, with awareness of common hazards.
  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Physical abilities required include seeing, hearing, talking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching, crawling, reaching, grasping, sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weekend and overtime work may be necessary.
  • Additional physical tasks may be required as needed.
