Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a variety of production tasks, including wiring, component installation, cable assembly, and the assembly of complete units. Assemble parts at designated stations as needed.
  • Verify that the dimensions of assigned products conform to specifications. Conduct functional testing as part of production activities and quality assurance checks.
  • Test and calibrate components and mechanisms to ensure they meet tolerances and specifications. Utilize hand and power tools to assemble units according to product requirements. Identify and repair units that do not meet testing standards.
  • Assist engineering and design teams with the design, testing, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and pneumatic schematics.
  • Adjust mechanical assemblies using precision tools and techniques as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to work from diagrams, drafts, or written/verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in understanding and interpreting technical manuals and prints.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent multitasking and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
  • Previous vocational training is a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • This position may involve exposure to varying internal environmental conditions, including temperature and noise levels typical of a manufacturing setting.
  • Job duties may require prolonged standing, sitting, and frequent walking in areas such as warehouses and assembly shops, along with navigating common hazards.
  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Physical capabilities include seeing, hearing, talking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching, crawling, reaching, grasping, sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weekend and overtime work may be necessary.
  • Additional physical tasks may be required as needed.

Education Requirement

A high school diploma or GED is required.
