About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth and identifying new business opportunities in the Force Protection and Security market within the Department of Defense (DoD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies to drive growth and identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and submitting proposals and bids
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development plans
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to internal teams to ensure alignment with business development goals
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on the DoD market
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience leading people, teams, and programs
  • Secret with Top Secret/SCI eligibility
  • 12+ years' experience working in or with DoD
