Position Summary

The Landscape Enhancement Specialist will take charge of executing various enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute landscape enhancement duties, which may include: sod installation, planting, boulder placement, stump removal, soil amendment, and bark application; debris clearance; drainage setup; and trench excavation.
  • Safely operate landscaping machinery, including but not limited to: ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, chippers, stump grinders, riding lawn mowers, bobcats, tractors, and bulldozers.
  • Support the initial and ongoing training of team members.
  • Foster and maintain a constructive working relationship with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Encourage and uphold safe working practices.
  • Arrive punctually for work each day; complete all assigned tasks within expected timeframes; adhere to the company’s dress code; maintain a professional appearance; comply with weather-related policies and sick leave protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial landscape construction is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred but not essential.
  • Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are preferred but not required.
  • A strong dedication to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to operate commercial landscaping tools and equipment.
  • Capability to complete assigned tasks promptly.
  • Regularly required to communicate, listen, see, sit, stand, and walk.
  • Must possess the ability to see clearly at various distances, including close-up and peripheral vision, and adjust focus as needed.
  • Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Regularly required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb, and maintain balance on potentially narrow or slippery surfaces.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Often works with mechanical equipment and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous chemicals.
  • Regularly exposed to elevated noise levels.
