Position Summary

The Enhancement Crew Members play a crucial role in executing enhancement projects that elevate outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out landscape enhancement duties, which may include: sod installation, planting, boulder placement, stump removal, soil amendment, and bark application; debris clearance; drainage system setup; and trench excavation.
  • Operate landscape machinery safely, including but not limited to: ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, chippers, stump grinders, riding lawn mowers, bobcats, tractors, and bulldozers.
  • Support initial and ongoing training for crew members.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to safe working practices.
  • Arrive at work punctually each day; complete all assigned tasks within expected timeframes; comply with the company dress code; maintain cleanliness in work attire; and follow policies regarding inclement weather and sick leave reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial landscape construction is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is advantageous but not essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to operate commercial landscape tools and equipment effectively.
  • Capability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Regularly required to communicate, hear, see, sit, stand, and walk.
  • Must possess good vision, including close, distant, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Regularly required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb, and maintain balance on potentially narrow or slippery surfaces.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Often works with mechanical equipment and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous chemicals.
  • Frequently exposed to elevated noise levels.
