We are seeking an Automotive Lube Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in automotive mechanics, along with ASE certification or a relevant technical degree.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough system checks to ensure all components are functioning effectively.
- Identify and isolate systems or components that may be malfunctioning.
- Perform test drives to evaluate vehicle performance and inspect fluid levels, refilling as necessary.
- Maintain proper tire pressure and clean and lubricate fittings as required.
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicating oil levels to colleagues.
- Demonstrate efficiency and precision in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Proactively repair or replace worn parts to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
- Utilize power tools, machine tools, and standard hand tools for various tasks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems and quick diagnostic skills.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities, with a desire for continuous improvement.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and service specifications.
- Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic tools.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- ASE Certification or Technical degree is preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience in a service department.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
