Our Rehabilitation Specialists are dedicated to assisting patients with debilitating conditions to enhance their ability to perform daily activities within their homes. They employ therapeutic techniques to improve patients' daily living skills and basic motor functions, while also addressing any functional limitations.
Rehabilitation Specialists provide skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and offer guidance to family members and other healthcare team members. These services are delivered in accordance with physicians' directives and the established care plan, under the supervision of the Branch Director.
Required QualificationsTo qualify for the Rehabilitation Specialist position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred, though less experience may be considered with appropriate approvals.
- Experience in Medicare home health settings is preferred.
