Key Responsibilities

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will assist patients facing physical challenges in enhancing their ability to perform daily activities within their homes. You will implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving daily living skills and basic motor functions, while also addressing any functional limitations that patients may encounter.

Your role will involve delivering skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and educating family members and other healthcare team members. These services will be provided in accordance with physician directives and the established care plan, under the guidance and supervision of the Branch Director.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for the Rehabilitation Specialist position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred, although less experience may be considered with appropriate approvals.
  • Experience in Medicare home health settings is preferred.
