Position Summary

The Landscape Enhancement Specialist will play a crucial role in executing enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out landscape enhancement activities, which may include: installation, replacement, and/or removal of sod, plants, boulders, stumps, soil, and mulch; debris clearance; drainage setup; and trench excavation.
  • Operate landscape machinery safely, including but not limited to: ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, chippers, stump grinders, riding lawn mowers, bobcats, tractors, and bulldozers.
  • Support the initial and ongoing training of team members.
  • Foster and maintain a constructive working relationship with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Ensure and promote safe working conditions.
  • Arrive at work punctually each day; complete assigned tasks within expected timeframes; adhere to the company dress code; maintain cleanliness in work attire; and follow protocols for inclement weather and sick leave.

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial landscape construction is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred but not essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to operate commercial landscape tools and equipment effectively.
  • Capability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Frequent communication, auditory, visual, and physical engagement is required.
  • Must possess good vision for close and distant tasks, as well as depth perception and focus adjustment.
  • Regular use of hands for manipulation, handling, or feeling objects, tools, or controls is necessary.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, climbing, and balancing on potentially narrow or slippery surfaces is expected.
  • Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Work will often be conducted outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous materials may occur.
  • Regular exposure to elevated noise levels is expected.
