Executive Chef

The Culinary Director is a key member of the Compass Group USA team, responsible for leading the culinary operations at our esteemed clients. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company that is redefining the hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively coach and motivate team members to deliver exceptional results
- Identify opportunities to drive improvements in food and financial performance
- Oversee all aspects of a safe and sanitary culinary department
- Work closely with purchasing and finance teams to develop menus that meet financial and quality standards
- Build and develop the on-site culinary team
- Support efforts to drive revenue through menu design and updates
- Oversee equipment maintenance routines and ensure proper inventory management
- Deliver training and coaching to team members on menu and culinary skills
- Manage team member breaks and ensure well-being
- Attend location management team meetings to maintain collaboration with other departments
- Conduct progressive discipline with team members to address performance issues
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a culinary leadership position
- Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products
- Culinary degree preferred
- High level of computer literacy
- Understanding of financial concepts
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
