About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Taher, Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service management company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Execute Daily Service and Culinary Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure seamless daily service and culinary operations, including retail and catering services.
  • Culinary Management: Oversee the culinary management of our operations, including purchasing, inventory, receiving, and production.
  • Staff Management: Hire, schedule, train, and mentor staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food production.
  • Quality Control: Evaluate the quality of raw food and ensure the quality of the finished product.
  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service skills, interacting daily with customers and clients.
  • Financial Management: Control revenue and expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Meet office deadlines, including keying of invoices, weekly and monthly reporting responsibilities, and ensure compliance with corporate, state, and federal requirements.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a culinary environment.
  • Certifications: Current ServSafe certification.
  • Skills: Ability to understand and positively impact P&L statements, cost of sales, food cost, and inventory control. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer skills with knowledge of MS office products.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with exposition cooking and catering experience.
