Position Overview:
As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting Computed Tomography (CT) scans in accordance with established protocols under supervision. This role requires you to prepare patients both physically and mentally, ensuring a safe and professional environment. You will adhere to National Patient Safety Goals (NSPG) by verifying two patient identifiers for each examination.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety regulations and immunology protocols.
- Collaborate with clinical students as necessary.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise in routine diagnostic CT examinations.
- Uphold HIPAA and corporate compliance standards.
- Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- A minimum of one year of experience in Computed Tomography (CT) is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficient understanding of CT Radiology procedures and CT Scanners.
- Knowledge of radiation safety, universal precautions, and immunology protocols.
- Competence in using general office software and equipment.
- Ability to apply CT Scanner knowledge to produce both contrast and non-contrast studies across various body locations.
- Ensure all scans comply with safety standards and protocols.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain orderly and clean workspaces.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with Spanish proficiency preferred.
- Capable of utilizing necessary software programs, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Certifications Required:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and IV Certification are mandatory.
- Eligibility for Computed Tomography (CT) ARRT Registry is required, with completion expected within the designated timeframe after hire.
