The Role:
The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will be instrumental in propelling Tunnl's expansion within the public affairs sector.

As an innovative tech company leading the charge in audience intelligence, Tunnl seeks an organized and proactive individual contributor who is eager to drive the growth of a dynamic organization through subscription-based sales.

The ideal candidate will excel in proactive outreach, embracing the excitement of sales, and will possess a goal-oriented, self-motivated mindset.

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will report directly to the Chief Business Development Officer. This position will operate in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster and sustain robust relationships with clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders to uncover new business prospects
  • Develop and nurture trust-based relationships with current and potential clients to enhance solutions and satisfaction
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics relevant to Tunnl's primary clientele
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and account management, to ensure smooth product implementation for clients
  • Formulate strategies and plans for expanding and deepening client relationships
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Chief Business Development Officer regarding business development initiatives, progress, and outcomes
  • Represent Tunnl at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to elevate brand visibility and generate leads

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven success in direct sales within the public affairs sector, particularly in data and/or market research
  • Prior experience in technology-driven SaaS product sales is highly desirable
  • Proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Skilled in relationship building and cultivation
  • Experience managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closure
  • Strong drive to achieve and surpass sales objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to set and attain measurable goals
  • Passionate about contributing to business growth and committed to enabling organizations to succeed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with HubSpot is advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience in digital, addressable, and linear television paid media are preferred
