  • Encourage collaboration with both internal and external partners to exchange best practices and align with the client’s overarching strategic objectives.
  • Proactively identify and address the needs of both internal teams and clients.
  • Guide teams through challenges with impartiality and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Resource Manager to ensure optimal resource allocation and management for each program or project.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic communications, particularly in relationship management, ideally within an agency environment serving government clients.
  • Extensive supervisory experience.
  • Management-level experience overseeing a complex government contract.
  • Exceptional client service and relationship management skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Proven capacity to communicate effectively with a diverse range of audiences, including federal, state, and local officials, as well as business leaders and community members.
  • Interest in or familiarity with equity-centered approaches to community engagement and program delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams across the country.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients as needed.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with a strong sense of business and financial acumen.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and vendor relationships.
