Job Overview

Position Summary:

This role is accountable for overseeing the inventory and management of resources and equipment for the Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board (GPTLHB), specifically for the Oyate Health Center (OHC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a precise accounting and reporting system for organizational assets.
  • Develop, implement, and assess systems for effective property management at Oyate Health Services.
  • Conduct an annual inventory of equipment.
  • Gather data regarding loss, damage, or destruction of organizational property.
  • Investigate records to identify obsolete or surplus property and provide recommendations for its utilization.
  • Prepare documentation for asset transfers.
  • Manage stock replenishment processes.
  • Investigate discrepancies arising from shipping errors.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and various departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Facilitate vendor approvals for returns.
  • Accelerate the delivery of urgently required items through effective communication.
  • Monitor outdated items and consult with departments for appropriate actions prior to expiration.
  • Review and confirm the accuracy of all incoming purchases against purchase orders.
  • Engage in planning to assess current and future supply needs to fulfill customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Effective presentation skills in both individual and small group settings.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and ensure all certifications are current.

Supervisory Control:

The supervisor outlines overall objectives and available resources. The employee collaborates with the supervisor to establish deadlines and project plans.
