Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategies to synchronize supply and demand, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Serve as the primary contact between internal teams (Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Procurement) and external suppliers to assess purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and address operational challenges.
  • Oversee and adjust monthly, quarterly, and campaign production plans, prioritizing work orders and proactively addressing any delays.
  • Manage daily supplier operations, including providing necessary information for supplier evaluations, maintaining supplier data in SAP, and resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Collaborate effectively with logistics and warehouse personnel to troubleshoot and rectify issues and discrepancies.
  • Champion process enhancements and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Fundamental knowledge of the Source-to-Pay process, including budgeting, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders.
  • Proficient in utilizing data to inform decisions, assess supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or as a Buyer.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP), MRP processes, and data flow management.
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation abilities.
  • Willingness to maintain a full-time office presence.
