About the Role

Benesch is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our water resources engineering group, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of utility and water resources projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams in the planning and design of water and wastewater related infrastructure projects
  • Manage client relationships and play a key role in strategic initiatives to drive the growth of the water/wastewater group
  • Self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of water and wastewater related infrastructure projects
  • Develop and implement design solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive project delivery
  • Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure successful project completion
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience with water resources, drinking water, and/or wastewater
  • Licensed PE in Tennessee is preferred, or desire to obtain licensure quickly
  • Increasing skills in creativity and judgment in application of engineering
  • Increased knowledge of software appropriate for the discipline, showing proficiency in multiple programs specific for this
  • Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment
  • Experience in ESRI ArcMap GIS and/or hydraulic water modeling is a plus
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus
