Senior Relationship Manager for Global Commercial Banking and Non-Bank Financial Institutions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to join our team in Global Commercial Banking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial banking and non-bank financial institutions, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Job Summary:The Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients in the non-bank financial institutions sector, providing them with tailored financial solutions and building strong relationships to drive business growth. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of clients in the non-bank financial institutions sector, providing them with tailored financial solutions and building strong relationships to drive business growth.
- Develop and implement effective client relationship strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the bank to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and increase revenue.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to clients and colleagues.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial or transaction banking.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen.
- Financial modeling experience and completion of a formal credit training preferred.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading, and negotiating with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- MBA desirable.
- Existing knowledge of the market preferred.
- Active member/participation in local community organizations.
- Highly desirable to have active networking contacts and Centers of Influence established in the market.
This role is based in New York, NY, and requires regular travel to meet with clients and colleagues. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
