Lead Family Court Services Analyst

Job Overview
The Judicial Council of California is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Analyst to oversee and enhance training initiatives for Family Court Services (FCS) across the state. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with judicial standards and improving service delivery to families involved in court processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Spearhead the planning and execution of comprehensive training programs for FCS directors, supervisors, and managers, ensuring adherence to judicial regulations. Act as a senior subject matter expert, leveraging extensive knowledge to inform the development of training curricula.
• Collaborate closely with Directors to assess training needs related to new legislation, best practices in child welfare, and effective court management strategies. Conduct thorough research to support training objectives.
• Design and implement training curricula that align with continuing education requirements, ensuring that all learning objectives are met.
• Provide expert technical assistance and coordination to court-based FCS Directors, facilitating access to vital resources and information.
• Research and disseminate best practices and innovative technologies to enhance the effectiveness of FCS programs.
• Collaborate with team members to contribute to mandatory statistical reporting and research efforts, ensuring accurate and meaningful data collection.
• Offer expert guidance on statistical reporting related to child custody mediation and associated services, assisting in the interpretation of findings.
• Oversee budget management for training initiatives, research projects, and technical assistance efforts.
• Work with procurement and conference services to secure contracts for training resources, including speakers and venues.
• Serve as the primary expert on various mediation service models, leading initiatives related to these practices and addressing emerging issues in the field.
• Monitor and evaluate mediation service models implemented by courts, tracking legislative changes that necessitate updates to FCS training protocols.
• Lead the development of new training materials and curricula mandated by legislation, focusing on enhancing child safety and well-being through culturally sensitive practices.
