We are looking for a Pediatric Services Coordinator to become an integral part of our Family Services division. In this role, you will collaborate with both administrative and clinical teams to receive, evaluate, and effectively resolve all service inquiries related to pediatric therapy and preschool programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake interviews with parents or guardians to gather vital information, assess the child's requirements, and formulate personalized care strategies.
  • Evaluate service requests based on established criteria to ensure precise scheduling.
  • Facilitate access to services for families while maintaining a sensitive approach to patient needs through analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Represent the organization's brand positively by being the first point of contact for new patients.
  • Manage incoming inquiries, connecting families with the most suitable services, therapists, and programs based on their child's needs and preferences.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of child development and associated challenges.
  • Assist new families by removing barriers to care, including obtaining necessary documentation.
  • Guide families through insurance inquiries and advocate for timely appointments.
  • Exceed family expectations through your approachability, expertise, and supportive nature, acting as a resource for children, caregivers, and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Interest in a role that merges clinical and administrative duties.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector; a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and a willingness to learn clinical information.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage interactions with children in high-pressure situations.
  • Availability: Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 8 am and 6 pm.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities, with a knack for building meaningful connections.
  • A strong passion for working in a patient-centered environment.
