Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist in the daily preparation of food items and ensure proper dating of products.
  • Coordinate the setup and breakdown of designated service stations as instructed by management.
  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate portion control when preparing and serving food items.
  • Maintain daily temperature logs for food safety compliance.
  • Conduct quality checks by sampling food items before serving.
  • Notify management of any food items that do not meet quality standards.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists for service stations.
  • Welcome customers as they approach the serving line and inquire about their service experience.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, including floors, equipment, and utensils.
  • Ensure all work areas and serving tools are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Responsible for the proper disposal of waste from the service line.
  • Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily safety observations and report any hazards to management immediately.
  • Cross-train in various areas as required.
  • Assist in concessions, catering, and special events as directed by management.
  • Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors or management team members.
  • Guide and support team members to ensure timely and effective customer service.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Serve Safe Certification is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Previous food service experience is advantageous.
  • Physical requirements include frequent lifting and transporting of hot food items.
  • Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals.

This position may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.

Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required for this role.
