Weekly Commitment: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, with shifts available between 7 AM and 7 PM Central Time
Contract Duration: 6 months, with possibilities for extension or transition based on performance and business requirements
Compensation: $17.50 per hour
Training Schedule: Mandatory training sessions conducted via video conferencing platforms

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately create and manage referrals and applications, staying informed on policy updates
- Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding their assistance requests
- Input detailed information into proprietary software while engaging with patients via phone
- Conduct outbound calls for patient follow-ups or confirmations
- Ensure quality service by providing empathetic support and educating patients during conversations
- Collaborate with patient referral sources to process new applications
- Manage patient accounts from initial contact through to final approval or denial
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED; further education is a plus
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or the pharmaceutical sector is preferred
- 2-4 years of customer-facing experience or relevant training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with call center or customer service practices is highly desirable
- Understanding of insurance billing and pharmacy operations is advantageous
- Proficient in using computer systems, including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and proprietary software
- Able to multitask effectively while communicating with patients
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly demeanor and customer-focused approach
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills, capable of working in high-volume environments
- Willingness to learn and grow into senior roles
- Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving performance metrics
- Adherence to attendance policies
Remote Work Requirements:
As a remote employee, you will need a dedicated, quiet workspace with reliable high-speed internet. We will provide the necessary technology and equipment to perform your duties effectively. However, you must ensure a secure and fast internet connection, meeting the following criteria:
- Secure broadband connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber) - No dial-up, satellite, or cellular connections
- Minimum download speed of 15 Mbps
- Minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps
- Directly connected to the router
- Surge protector with network line protection for provided equipment
