Qualifications:


• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is essential; equivalent experience will also be considered.


• An advanced degree such as a Master's is highly desirable.


• Certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is mandatory; Black Belt certification is preferred.

Experience:


• A minimum of 10 years in progressive leadership roles within operational management is required.


• Experience in the medical manufacturing sector is advantageous.


• At least 5 years of experience managing operations across multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment is necessary.

Physical Requirements:


• Ability to remain stationary for 50% or more of the workday.


• Proficiency in operating a computer for 50% or more of the workday.

Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee daily operational functions of the organization, acting as the expert in process planning and prioritization for operations. Develop and execute strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, ensuring quality, and promoting continuous improvement.


• Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to all members of the operations team. Address routine supervisory matters, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations. Support the growth of future leaders within the department.


• Effectively communicate the corporate vision, mission, and values throughout operational practices, fostering a culture of respect and civility within the organization.


• Collaborate with the executive leadership team to assess and monitor overall company performance, guide strategic decision-making, and recommend actions to stakeholders.


• Assess operational performance against established KPIs and industry benchmarks. Identify opportunities for enhanced accountability and develop appropriate reporting metrics that support the operations team's competencies, goals, and objectives.


• Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in operations; apply this knowledge to inform policy, practice, and resource allocation.


• Plan, manage, and oversee budgets for personnel and equipment resources in alignment with company growth and future requirements, while ensuring financial health and sustainability.


• Represent the organization positively and professionally at various external and internal events, including trade shows and customer engagements.


• Perform additional duties as necessary.
