About Our Team

We're seeking a talented and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team at Appalachian Regional Healthcare. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and helping us achieve our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to employees, including handling HR-related tasks and maintaining employee records.
  • Compile and analyze data on various aspects of the clinic, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Perform administrative tasks, special projects, and personnel duties as assigned, demonstrating a high level of organization and communication skills.
  • Prepare reports for the Administrator, reviewing and verifying data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Collaborate with physicians to review CPT coding, ensuring accurate charges and collections.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred; or
  • Associate's degree with two years of experience in administration, preferably in a clinic or hospital setting; or
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of five years of experience in administration, management, or business-related fields, preferably in a hospital environment.

This role is expected to be compensated at approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on qualifications and location.
