Job Title: Medical Office Support Specialist

Baptist Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Support Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Access Coordinator Float, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy
  • Register patients and obtain necessary signatures
  • Determine patients' out-of-pocket expenses and collect payments
  • Schedule appointments and ensure efficient patient flow
  • Perform switchboard duties and manage medical records

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer skills and experience with medical office software preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
