Baptist Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Support Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Access Coordinator Float, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical offices.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy
- Register patients and obtain necessary signatures
- Determine patients' out-of-pocket expenses and collect payments
- Schedule appointments and ensure efficient patient flow
- Perform switchboard duties and manage medical records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Computer skills and experience with medical office software preferred
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
