As the Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will spearhead the growth of our key strategic accounts, manage innovative project pipelines across various business lines, expand market presence, and achieve targeted revenue and volume growth objectives. Your Daily Responsibilities:
- Act as the sales leader within the designated region, representing senior management and conveying direction in an inspiring manner.
- Oversee revenue, margin, and profitability growth for all key accounts within the brokerage sector.
- Formulate corrective strategies for underperforming and unprofitable accounts.
- Assess the potential of each key account and devise an action plan to maximize market share.
- Track revenue performance by customer and take necessary actions with key stakeholders to ensure commitments are met or surpassed.
- Promote success in sales initiatives and share effective practices.
- Build and sustain strategic, multi-level customer relationships to identify specific needs and behaviors of key decision-makers.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the brokerage business unit, collaborating with Sales Account Managers, other sales professionals, and executives.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:
To be considered, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the logistics sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may involve weekends; travel as required.
- A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- The capability to collaborate effectively with operations and implement initiatives.
- Strong skills in establishing and maintaining productive, collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
