The Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships. This role is pivotal in fostering and managing partnerships within the Business Service Organization (BSO) ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:


The Director of Strategic Partnerships will:

  • Design and implement initiatives aligned with the WBDC's strategic partnership objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective partner organizations, particularly in targeted markets.
  • Coordinate internal resources and community partnerships to effectively deliver programming and services.
  • Collaborate with other BSOs and stakeholders to enhance capacity building and engagement.
  • Oversee various projects, ensuring strategic partnership data management and best practices.
  • Innovate and execute collaborative projects with key stakeholders within the BSO ecosystem.
  • Monitor program effectiveness, expenditures, and required reporting.
  • Represent the WBDC at events through networking and public speaking.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote workshops and training sessions.
  • Align activities with the WBDC's strategic goals.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Familiarity with the neighborhoods and communities served by the WBDC.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred).
  • A passion for women's issues and economic development.
