POSITION SUMMARY

The Construction Project Supervisor will oversee and manage designated projects, ensuring effective field operations, site safety, productivity, adherence to schedules, quality workmanship, and coordination with trade contractors and suppliers, working closely with the Project Manager to lead the project team.

Work Schedule: Full-Time Construction Project Supervisor

Compensation Package: Annual salary, gas allowance, health benefits, and performance bonuses based on project completions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit subcontractor bids and compile cost estimates along with scheduling requirements for residential construction projects.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, including weekly meetings, meeting minutes, and daily updates.
  • Develop project schedules and document progress with weekly photographs.
  • Ensure daily presence on job sites to uphold quality, budget, schedule, and safety standards.
  • Update project documentation, including schedules, change orders, and subcontractor assessments.
  • Assist in the monthly billing process.
  • Strive for excellence in all aspects of project management.

We seek a skilled Construction Project Supervisor to plan and oversee a variety of construction projects from inception to completion. You will organize and manage construction processes to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

An exceptional Construction Project Supervisor should possess a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and procedures, capable of coordinating a diverse team of professionals to achieve optimal results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities and excellent organizational skills.

To ensure all projects are completed on schedule, meet requirements, and remain within budget.

  • Ability to foster remarkable client-builder relationships and guide clients through the residential construction process positively and personally.
  • Capability to establish strong, beneficial partnerships with subcontractors and suppliers for the mutual benefit of all parties involved.
  • Proficiency in resolving complex issues related to scheduling, billing, and change orders, ensuring all parties feel heard and understood.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for interpreting non-verbal cues.
  • Willingness to adhere to and enhance company processes, contributing to the overall strength of the organization.

Required Skills:

  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Commitment to following and improving company processes.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager (Superintendent) in high-end custom home projects.
  • A college degree in construction management or architecture is preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of adhering to company processes and a willingness to improve them collaboratively.

Results Orientation:

  • Proven track record of repeat customer satisfaction and the ability to manage projects effectively within time and budget constraints.
  • Submission of a list of subcontractors with whom the candidate has collaborated for over 2 years.
  • Evidence of the level and quality of projects managed.
