POSITION SUMMARY

The Construction Project Supervisor will oversee and direct assigned projects, ensuring effective management of field operations, site safety, productivity, scheduling, quality assurance, and coordination with trade contractors and suppliers. This role works closely with the Project Manager to lead the project team.

Work Schedule: Full-Time Construction Project Supervisor

Compensation Package: Annual salary, gas allowance, health benefits, and performance bonuses based on project completions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit subcontractor bids and compile cost estimates alongside scheduling requirements for residential construction projects.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, including weekly meetings, detailed meeting minutes, and daily updates.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, providing weekly photographic documentation of progress.
  • Ensure daily presence on job sites to uphold quality standards, budget constraints, timelines, and safety protocols.
  • Update project documentation, including schedules, change orders, and subcontractor assessments.
  • Assist in the monthly billing process.
  • Strive for excellence in all project aspects.

We seek a seasoned Construction Project Supervisor to plan and manage a diverse range of construction projects from inception to completion. You will organize and oversee construction processes, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.

An exceptional Construction Project Supervisor should possess comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures, capable of coordinating a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities and outstanding organizational skills.

Objectives:

The primary goal is to ensure all projects are completed on schedule, meeting all requirements without exceeding budget constraints.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Ability to cultivate remarkable client-builder relationships and guide clients through the residential construction process positively and personally.
  2. Commitment to accountability, taking ownership of decisions and their outcomes.
  3. Capability to resolve challenging situations related to scheduling, billing, and change orders, facilitating understanding among all parties involved.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an aptitude for interpreting non-verbal cues and enhancing communication through technology.
  5. Willingness to adhere to and improve company processes, contributing to team success.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in effective communication and conflict resolution, both verbally and in writing.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Open to following and enhancing company processes.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager (Superintendent) with a focus on high-end custom home projects.
  • A college degree in construction management or architecture is preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of following company processes and a willingness to improve them collaboratively.

  • A positive demeanor with a proactive approach to all projects.
  • Trustworthiness and integrity are essential.

  • Proven track record of repeat customer satisfaction and the ability to manage projects within time and budget constraints.
  • Submission of a list of subcontractors with whom you have collaborated for over 2 years.
  • Demonstrated quality and level of projects managed.
