We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at Weldin Construction, LLC. - Schedule Management: Develop and manage project schedules, including planning, coordinating, and tracking progress to ensure timely completion.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the highest quality standards, adhering to design requirements and company policies.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other team members, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues, including conflicts, delays, and quality control problems.
- Education and Experience: A combination of experience and education that demonstrates the required skills, knowledge, and abilities will be considered. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and Project. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Preferred Qualifications: DOD/DOE projects experience, OSHA 30 Certification, Engineering or Construction Management degree, and historical renovation knowledge.
This position involves work at a construction site, with regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and physical demands. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are also required.
