Overview of Success in This Position:

Primary Responsibilities:

Unisys is in search of a Solutions Executive to define and oversee the strategic solutions roadmap, develop business cases, and manage investments. This role involves gathering requirements and determining the optimal approach for delivery, whether through internal development or external partnerships. Additionally, the executive will establish and maintain a robust partner ecosystem while effectively communicating platform and technology roadmaps and standards.

Detailed Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Enterprise Computing Solutions Leader, the Next-Gen Solutions Executive will be responsible for the strategic direction of Next Gen and Quantum IQ, as well as Unisys Logistics Optimization (U-Lo) technology, including support, services, and solution offerings.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering innovative solutions with compelling value propositions while fostering exceptional collaborations within Unisys and with external partners to shape a solution strategy aimed at driving profitable revenue growth through both existing client expansion and new client acquisition.
  • Providing in-depth knowledge of enterprise computing, solutions, and services, while collaborating with various organizations to ensure comprehensive sales and delivery enablement. A proven track record of delivering value to clients is essential.
  • Establishing governance for solution investments, focusing on funding management and return on investment.
  • Working closely with the Unisys Alliances organization to ensure access to the necessary partner network and to build required competencies and certifications.
  • Partnering with the Unisys Global Procurement organization to ensure an effective partner ecosystem for solutions, including agreements, discount structures, licensing, and pricing.
  • Supporting the client management team by engaging with clients to assist in account management and pursuit activities.

Success Factors for This Role:

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Management or Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge; advanced education is preferred.
  • Over 20 years of experience in a systems engineering or software product organization.
  • Proven ability to lead discussions with senior client representatives in person.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in relevant fields through publications, presentations, or patents.
  • Proactive, analytical, and capable of influencing decisions and providing support.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
  • A solid history of creating and managing marketable solutions.
  • A deep understanding of applying emerging technologies to address contemporary business challenges (AI, ML, Quantum, etc.).
  • Ability to work within a global team, engaging multiple stakeholders across various functions, business units, and regions.
