Role Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Client Relations will be instrumental in enhancing our market footprint by establishing and nurturing connections with clients across both small business and retail sectors. This individual will represent the bank at industry gatherings, networking events, and community initiatives, leveraging their banking or finance acumen to generate new business prospects. This position entails crafting strategies to expand the Bank's customer base by collaborating closely with management to provide customized financial solutions that align with client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain robust, long-lasting relationships with key clients and prospects. Ensure exceptional levels of client satisfaction and loyalty through personalized service and proactive engagement. Maintain continuous communication with clients to evaluate their financial requirements and uncover opportunities for cross-selling additional services.
  • Networking and Representation: Serve as the primary representative for the Bank at professional gatherings, industry conferences, and community events. Effectively advocate for the bank's interests in both B2B and B2C environments, promoting our brand and services.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business avenues to strengthen the bank's market position. Formulate and execute strategies to attract and retain clients, utilizing your banking or finance expertise to customize solutions to meet client needs.
  • Client Acquisition: Lead initiatives aimed at acquiring new clients, delivering persuasive presentations and proposals that highlight the bank's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Leverage this knowledge to refine strategies and pinpoint new growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product managers, financial advisors, and customer service representatives, to ensure the seamless delivery of integrated solutions and achieve client objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and assess business development metrics, client feedback, and market trends to enhance strategies and meet performance targets.
  • Compliance: Ensure all business development activities comply with regulatory standards and internal policies, upholding the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, with at least 3 years in banking or financial services.
  • Proven success in B2B and B2C networking, client acquisition, and relationship management, along with a commitment to supporting small businesses and community development.
  • Strong grasp of banking products, services, and industry regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
