Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and plans to stimulate growth
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of sales prospects within the US market
- Proactively engage and penetrate key target accounts
- Collaborate with marketing and pre-sales teams to ensure effective pipeline development
- Network with analysts and industry associations to position Equisoft as a leading vendor
- Participate in industry seminars and conferences to showcase Equisoft's expertise and unique positioning in the insurance sector
- Facilitate a seamless transition from sales to Account Management as part of the sales process, working with internal stakeholders to secure necessary deal approvals
Technical Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in technology sales to life insurance companies
- In-depth knowledge of the Life and Annuity industry, particularly in the group/voluntary/worksite market
- Demonstrated sales proficiency in prospecting and closing large, complex deals
- Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales
- Ability to effectively communicate with mid to C-level executives at prospective organizations
- Proven track record of engaging with C-level executives and successfully closing large, complex deals
- Ability to articulate the business value of intricate enterprise technology solutions
- Expertise in cultivating business champions and managing complex sales processes
- Training or certification in sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
- History of exceeding sales targets and achieving outstanding results
- Highly motivated and competitive, with a strong desire for success
- Persistent, proactive approach to sales with a passion for driving results
- Proven ability to leverage data and digital tools to identify leads
- Familiarity with Agile implementation processes and methodologies
- Experience in selling Policy Administration Systems
