Patient Service Associate

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Service Associate to join our team at Bon Appétit. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Take patient menu selections prior to each meal, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Assemble and deliver trays according to patient menu selections, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Interact with nursing staff to ensure accurate patient diet prescriptions and food needs are met.
- Retrieve trays from patient rooms, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
- Maintain accurate and current information for each patient on assigned units, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare teams.
- Assist dietitians with monitoring patients who are NPO, on liquid diets, or have a calorie count ordered.
- Communicate patient-related problems or concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner, adhering to departmental procedures.
- Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policies, as outlined in the facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Contribute to patient satisfaction goals by providing quality service, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, as well as department sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary working environment, adhering to HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies.
- Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures, meeting prescribed deadlines.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
