Job Overview

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will engage in a diverse range of rewarding tasks, providing essential support that enhances the experience of our patients. This role is integral to our Manhattan Restorative Health Sciences team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients, visitors, and vendors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Perform various administrative duties including printing, copying, scanning, and faxing documents as required.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of patient profiles within our Electronic Health Record system.
  • Efficiently coordinate an integrated appointment schedule for multiple healthcare providers and patients.
  • Verify and manage patient payments in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Keep the front desk area tidy and organized, managing supplies as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to facilitate a seamless workflow and deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a receptionist role or similar customer-facing position (candidates with hospitality backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
  • Personable, energetic, and responsible with a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, dedicated to providing outstanding customer service to a diverse patient population.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in computer and software applications.
  • Reliable and punctual.
