Senior Business Development Manager

A leading company in the plastic injection molding industry is seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. This remote position will be responsible for building partnerships, acquiring new customers, and driving revenue growth in the Southwestern USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive revenue growth and expand the company's presence in the injection molding industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and prospective customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry connections and market knowledge to drive growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine the process of enterprise-level customer acquisition.
- Provide detailed sales forecasting and reporting using Salesforce and other software tools.
- Work with legal counsel and internal stakeholders to navigate complex contracting arrangements and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of professional experience in customer-centric roles, with a strong background in injection molding and tooling.
- 10+ years of experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships.
- Strong industry connections and a deep understanding of the manufacturing space and customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
