Job Title: Customer Service Representative

At Public Storage, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess customer storage needs and make recommendations, including selling packing and moving supplies.
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to ensure inventory and availability, and make sure spaces are ready to rent.
  • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business operations.
  • Help customers stay current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between work locations and other work-related tasks.
