Position Overview
We are actively seeking a skilled Tax Senior to join our vibrant and fast-paced Finance department.

This role presents an exciting chance to engage with a diverse range of clients, delivering innovative solutions to intricate tax challenges.

The Tax Senior will be instrumental in tax strategy, compliance, and preparation, utilizing their knowledge of tax legislation and accounting principles.

This position is ideal for a progressive tax expert eager to make a meaningful contribution within a prominent organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Senior, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating tax audits, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all tax filings with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conducting comprehensive reviews of financial documents, identifying potential tax obligations and ensuring precise tax provisions.
  • Offering strategic tax planning guidance to clients, assisting them in navigating complex tax situations and optimizing their tax strategies.
  • Staying informed about current tax laws and regulations, and communicating relevant updates to the team and clients.
  • Supervising the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documentation, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
  • Collaborating with other departments to enhance tax processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Providing mentorship and training to junior staff, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and professional development.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Tax Senior position should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or CPA certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, with a strong focus on compliance and preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the capability to interpret and apply them across various business contexts.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, with the capacity to analyze large datasets and identify significant trends and insights.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts clearly and succinctly.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant technological tools.
  • A proactive work ethic, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and meet stringent deadlines.
