Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our patient experience initiatives at Northwell Health. As a Director of Patient Experience, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience across our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Patient Experience Strategies: Collaborate with leadership teams to create and execute patient experience strategies that align with Northwell Health's mission and values.
  • Lead Patient Experience Teams: Direct and develop a team of patient experience professionals to implement patient experience initiatives and programs.
  • Measure and Evaluate Patient Experience: Develop and implement metrics to measure patient experience and satisfaction, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient experience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with various departments, including nursing, medicine, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of patient-centered care.
  • Develop and Manage Budgets: Oversee the development and management of budgets for patient experience initiatives and programs.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and industry trends in patient experience and healthcare.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience in patient experience and 7+ years of leadership/management experience.
  • Certifications: Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) preferred.
