The Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Director to lead our patient care unit. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the clinical and management functions of the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Monitor and evaluate unit performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
- Current NY State registration and license required
- Board certification in an area of expertise required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with Epic system preferred
- Competitive salary range: $155,000 - $180,000 per year
