Medical Office Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant II to support the clinical activities of our practice. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in a medical office environment and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with answering phones, paging physicians, and related switchboard duties.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and ancillary testing.
- Assemble, organize, and file patient medical charts as needed.
- Copies completed dictation, lab, and test reports and distributes copies as needed.
- Copies, files, and faxes clinic correspondence and information.
- Assist with charge entry as appropriate.
- Perform clinic support functions, including stocking supplies, transporting patients, picking up lab/test results, and X-Rays, etc.
- Help maintain a clean patient care environment.
- Greet patients and visitors and escort them to the exam room.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three to five years of experience in a medical office environment.
