Account Manager Job Description

Suddath Van Lines, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with key customers, achieving sales quotas, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Suddath Van Lines, Inc. to assigned customers, leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring customer needs and expectations are met.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Proactively lead joint company-strategic account planning processes to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
  • Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training in strategic business to business sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly customer service oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and specific time frames.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work with minimum supervision.

The salary range for this position is $78,336-$104,040 (this position range is based on the geographic location of the posting). This position will also offer a monthly phone stipend, benefits, 401(k), and PTO. This position will be eligible to earn a bonus based on yearly budgeted goals and KPIs.
