Position Overview

As a pivotal member of our sales team, you will be tasked with promoting Masimo's innovative Capnography solutions, focusing on Procedural Sedation and advanced nasal high-flow technologies. Your role will involve fostering collaborative relationships, demonstrating clinical insight, and being solution-oriented to enhance patient care and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Masimo's proven sales strategies to transition competitive accounts to our advanced technologies.
  • Maintain a detailed record of sales opportunities and provide weekly updates.
  • Assist clinical specialists in conducting thorough Physical Inventories as part of the sales approach.
  • Deliver compelling presentations that articulate Masimo's unique value proposition.
  • Facilitate the execution of True Incremental agreements for both new client acquisitions and contract renewals.
  • Drive sales of capital products related to Capnography and nasal high-flow technologies within your designated territory.
  • Effectively communicate findings from clinical studies related to Masimo's technologies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clinical thought leaders at key accounts to showcase the benefits of Masimo's solutions in improving care processes and patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Masimo team members, including Corporate Accounts and Clinical Specialists, to share vital market insights and competitive intelligence.
  • Continuously enhance your strategic selling skills and seek opportunities for personal development and best practice implementation.
  • Organize and lead educational seminars highlighting the critical needs and advantages of Masimo's offerings.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive CRM database of key account information, including profiles and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate clinical evaluations of Masimo's Capnography and Nasal High Flow technologies to identify credible clinical champions.
  • Conduct annual business reviews with existing clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in a hospital setting, particularly in innovative technology solutions.
  • Proven track record in selling medical devices or emerging technologies across various hospital departments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a history of managing customer interactions effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for leading group presentations.
  • Ability to persuade healthcare professionals to adopt new ideas based on clinical evidence and innovative technologies.
  • Experience in conducting clinical evaluations of technology, including research and focus groups.
  • Capability to communicate value-driven solutions effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays, and possess a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in selling innovative patient care solutions.
  • Experience in building relationships with clinical champions.
  • Knowledge of critical care and respiratory therapy; relevant credentials are a plus.
  • Familiarity with the hospital sales environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation

Competitive base salary range of $80,000 - $90,000, with additional variable compensation opportunities. Total compensation potential of $205,000 (Base + Commission) at target performance. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including skills, education, and experience.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves working outside of a traditional office setting, requiring frequent customer interactions and travel. Candidates must be able to travel by air and operate a motor vehicle, with a valid driver's license that meets company insurance standards. The position may involve extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting, along with daily use of computers and digital devices.
