Your Role
As a Clinical Solutions Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business by targeting prospective medical providers within the Veteran's Affairs and Department of Defense sectors, as well as office-based healthcare professionals and health systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive product demonstrations, delivering educational training to healthcare providers, and utilizing your expertise in service-oriented sales and cold-calling, particularly within Veteran's Affairs facilities. Familiarity with consultative sales techniques will be beneficial.
As a self-driven and goal-oriented professional, you will operate independently while collaborating closely with the National Sales Manager to drive new implementations and growth in your designated region. You will serve as the primary liaison for accounts within your territory, nurturing relationships with healthcare facilities to enhance account penetration and foster long-term growth. Additionally, you will focus on developing new accounts, especially within government facilities, while maintaining an active schedule of external calls, prospecting new clients, and nurturing existing partnerships. Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential in managing the purchase order contracting process.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving annual revenue and patient enrollment targets in Remote Patient Monitoring.
- Meeting sales objectives by onboarding new prescribers and retaining existing ones; providing accurate sales forecasts.
- Analyzing market trends and identifying short- and long-term opportunities within multi-hospital health systems to support strategic sales initiatives.
- Representing Orpyx in alignment with company policies within your assigned territory and occasionally at regional trade shows.
- Residing within the geographical area of the position.
- Comfortable presenting virtually using platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
- Establishing and nurturing business relationships with key decision-makers and internal corporate teams.
- Completing sales administration tasks, including documentation of sales calls and expense reports.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Performing duties in accordance with the quality management system requirements.
Due to the dynamic nature of an early-stage high-tech company, the Clinical Solutions Account Executive may take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales/Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5+ years of sales experience, including strategic selling and negotiation training, preferably in the VA/DOD healthcare sector.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience selling to health systems, outpatient clinics, and government facilities, either directly or through indirect channels.
- Experience engaging with both internal team members and external clients as part of a consultative sales approach.
- Preferred experience in financial/executive suite sales.
- Proven self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Affinity for working with medical/healthcare products and professionals.
- Ability to grasp technical and clinical aspects of medical products and terminology.
- Self-directed, autonomous, and adaptable to change.
- Strong business acumen and presentation skills.
- Collaborative team player.
- Demonstrated results-oriented approach with a successful track record in consultative and strategic selling.
- Understanding of the healthcare continuum and care pathway selling process.
Employment Status: Regular full-time at-will employment.
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time is required.
