Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Segment Director - Water & Wastewater.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the chance to engage in proactive business development that aligns with the division's strategic objectives in regions requiring heightened focus. Your daily tasks will include providing business support, showcasing expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment/customer support for the designated product portfolio. You will also demonstrate your skills by ensuring profitable business growth and the sustainable execution of the division's strategic initiatives. The work model for this position is: #LI - Remote. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading and cultivating sales of water solutions for Low Voltage Drives with targeted consulting engineers, municipalities, and system integrators, utilizing company resources to establish a unique value proposition around ABB drives. You will deliver presentations to elucidate the technical advantages of ABB VFDs to persuade stakeholders of their benefits.
- Building robust relationships at various levels with key clients to become a trusted advisor and foster preference for ABB products.
- Providing critical market and customer insights to ABB for product enhancements and new product development.
- Maintaining a project pipeline through a CRM tool, ensuring an accurate opportunity funnel to assist in sales forecasting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical preferred) with 8 years of relevant sales/business experience, or an Associate degree with 10 years of relevant sales/business experience.
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
- Proven track record of sales in the municipal water sector, including experience with consulting engineers.
- Preferred market knowledge in Low Voltage Drives and related systems.
- Candidates must possess work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
- Exposure to cutting-edge technology in Motion, making a visible impact on the future.
- Involvement in anticipating, sensing, and responding to technology trends.
