Position Summary: The Residential Leasing Specialist serves as the primary liaison for residents and potential residents, managing interactions that include customer service, lease documentation, follow-ups on maintenance requests, marketing initiatives, resident events, and facilitating transitions for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively markets and leases available units, ensuring occupancy goals are met by managing waitlists.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service to current, prospective, and past residents; greets visitors and handles phone inquiries professionally.
  • Processes leasing and resident management tasks using property management software.
  • Utilizes virtual tour applications to create engaging content for residents.
  • Supports the Leasing and Resident Manager in achieving occupancy targets.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for inquiries, directing individuals to appropriate resources.
  • Assists in planning and executing resident functions, marketing efforts, and resource management.
  • Facilitates the collection of outstanding lease balances before accounts become delinquent.
  • Coordinates accommodation requests from residents for management approval.
  • Ensures accuracy of lease documentation for move-ins and move-outs, compiling charges as necessary.
  • Plans and executes resident events, managing vendor relations and promotional materials.
  • Communicates important resident updates through various channels.
  • Conducts regular inspections to ensure compliance with community standards.
  • Performs home inspections prior to occupancy to ensure readiness.
  • May assist in training new office staff.
  • This role is considered essential and may require on-site presence during emergencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment: The role involves both office work and community engagement, with regular driving required.

Physical Requirements: The position requires effective communication skills, the ability to sit for extended periods, and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
