Role Summary: The Leasing and Resident Associate serves as the primary liaison for residents and potential residents, facilitating communication and providing support throughout the leasing process. Responsibilities include customer service, lease documentation, follow-ups on maintenance requests, marketing initiatives, resident events, and managing transitions for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and lease available units, achieving budgeted occupancy goals
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and visitors
  • Utilize property management software for leasing and resident management tasks
  • Create virtual tours and maintenance tips using technology
  • Assist in achieving resident occupancy targets
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries at the community office
  • Support resident functions and marketing efforts
  • Manage outstanding lease and damage balances
  • Coordinate accommodation requests for residents
  • Ensure accuracy of lease paperwork for move-ins and move-outs
  • Plan and execute resident events and activities
  • Communicate resident updates and announcements
  • Coordinate pest control and maintenance inspections
  • Address resident issues and maintenance requests
  • Conduct neighborhood inspections for compliance
  • Perform home inspections prior to occupancy
  • Assist in training new office staff
  • Be available for emergency situations as required
  • Complete additional job-related tasks as assigned

Supervisor Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory duties.

Work Environment: The role involves working in an office setting and within the local community, including regular driving and mobility. Employees may encounter various environmental conditions during residential visits.

Physical Requirements: This position requires regular communication via phone and email, extended periods of sitting, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Good manual dexterity and mobility are essential.
