Role Summary: The Leasing and Resident Associate serves as the primary liaison for residents and potential residents, handling customer service inquiries, lease documentation, maintenance follow-ups, marketing initiatives, resident events, and facilitating transitions in and out of housing units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and lease available units, achieving occupancy targets by managing the waitlist.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to current, prospective, and past residents.
- Utilize property management software for leasing and resident management tasks.
- Create virtual tour videos and maintenance tips using Realync app.
- Support the Leasing and Resident Manager in achieving occupancy goals.
- Act as the first point of contact for inquiries at the community office.
- Assist in planning resident events and managing marketing efforts.
- Coordinate requests for accommodations from residents.
- Ensure accuracy of lease paperwork during move-ins and move-outs.
- Organize and execute resident activities and events.
- Communicate approved resident updates through various channels.
- Manage notifications for pest control and maintenance inspections.
- Address resident issues, including maintenance requests.
- Conduct neighborhood inspections to ensure compliance with community standards.
- Perform home inspections prior to new resident occupancy.
- Assist in training new office personnel.
- Fulfill other job-related duties as assigned.
Supervisor Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in property management or customer service
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
- Basic financial acumen for residency management.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
Work Environment: This role involves working in an office setting and within the local community, requiring regular mobility and driving.
Physical Demands: The position requires effective communication, prolonged sitting, and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
