About the Deputy Director of Programs
This role plays a critical part in supporting the Director of Programs, overseeing the Programs Department, and engaging with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills. A strong understanding of community-based education and cultural competency is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in strategic planning, lead program teams, build relationships with stakeholders, analyze data, mentor staff, plan events, manage budgets, and represent the organization at public forums. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation are mandatory. Knowledge of community-based education, child/youth development, and cultural competency is highly valued. Proficiency in computer software applications, event planning skills, and exceptional administrative and communication skills are also required.
Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $59,000 - $63,000. We offer opportunities for growth and professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our community members.
